Linda Graham shares practices for cultivating resilience in challenging times in this inspirational and informative Peacemaker Forum talk.

According to Linda, resilience is our innate capacity to flexibly face and handle life’s challenges, whether everyday disappointments or extraordinary disasters.  In the video, she details the various dimensions of resilience and shares powerful practices to connect with our inner resources of compassion, clarity, and courage.

Resilience training also helps you connect with external resources to help you re-group and recover your response flexibility, no matter what level of disruption you are experiencing in your current life.

Linda’s acclaimed book, Bouncing Back: Rewiring Your Brain for Maximum Resilience and Well-Being (New World Library, 2013) integrates the paradigms and practices of modern neuroscience, Western relational psychology and Eastern contemplative practices. She shares how to  shift out of old patterns of responding to life events to more flexible, adaptive coping strategies that lead to more authentic well-being.
