Biography

Tracy Fink is a change agent, teacher and leader who is passionate about showing people how to become “unstuck” and flourish in their environments.  She is the CEO and Founder of The Tortoise Institute which offers secular and evidence-based programs focusing on building emotional intelligence in organizations and communities.  The benefits of the programs include increased self-awareness, focus, compassion, resiliency and well-being. She also offers leadership development workshops, one-on-one and group coaching as well as guided meditation sessions in corporate, community and individual settings. Before starting The Tortoise Institute, Tracy was a Director of Marketing and the Director of the Executive Women’s Forum (EWF), an inclusive business development program she conceived and executed nationwide at CohnReznick LLC.  She has worked with numerous professional service firms including banks, law and accounting firms. Tracy is a frequent speaker on topics including Building Emotional Intelligence for Leaders; Self-Compassion as a Strategy For Resiliency; Sponsor vs. Mentor; Navigating Difficult Conversations; and Courageous Leadership: Getting Outside Your Comfort Zone.  She has presented for leadership teams and audiences at leading workplaces including PNC Bank, Perry Ellis, BioNJ, Dress for Success, Rider University and The New School. Tracy holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a BA in Psychology from Boston University. She completed a year-long Teacher
Certification Program at Search Inside Yourself, the global evidence-based emotional intelligence program engineered at Google.  She was named a Top Intrapreneur in 2016 by Leading Women Entrepreneurs and was recognized as a Best 50 Women in Business by NJBiz in 2018. Tracy is a mentor for Rider University Women’s Leadership Council.  She thrives on the love of her family and friends, adventurous travel, collaborative cooking, and college football.  [email protected]
