Lisa’s personal experiences with anxiety, depression and chronic pain throughout her life often created feelings of being disconnected and overwhelmed. During university, while living abroad in the Netherlands, Lisa’s friend introduced her to the art of yoga and meditation. For Lisa, the practice felt like an invitation to come home to the body, which quite simply became a practice to support her in her physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing from then on. Her interest in diving deeper into the practice rippled into years of practicing, absorbing, and sharing yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices. Lisa’s playfulness and authenticity allows her to be a dynamic and compassionate space holder.
Her calling to this work has brought her around the world being passed on wisdom offered through years of teacher training and retreats exploring the practices of Prana Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga, Vipassana, Prenatal Yoga, Children's Yoga, MBSR (mindfulness-based stress reduction), Mindful Education, trauma-informed mindfulness and movement practices, and Transformative Educational Leadership.
