Laura Wells

Trained as an international MBA, Laura brings together 15 years of consumer-packaged goods brand development, six years of nonprofit leadership, and a longtime meditation practice to lead AwakeTeams. AwakeTeams is an enterprise training startup born from the Founder Institute Silicon Valley accelerator program in 2020.

AwakeTeams embeds enduring human capabilities by training diverse teams in fundamental skills. Teams take a learning journey together, developing shared practices and norms while also developing individual growth edges via peer feedback and targeted interventions. Individuals and teams thrive, as belonging, innovation, and productivity increase.

Laura's mission is to facilitate positive change in the business world. She believes that by creating workplace spaces of authentic connection, participation, and meaningful contribution, businesses will be a force for good—in both the development of human potential within their organizations and in the human and environmental impact of their business activities.

As a Certified Search Inside Yourself (SIY) Teacher, Laura has brought the Google-born SIY Program to LinkedIn, HP Inc., Kaiser Permanente, Facebook, Global Citizen Year, and other organizations. She has also facilitated the program for the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, at a large public program in Berkeley and for a confidential client in San Francisco.

Laura has lived and worked in the US and Europe, speaks French and German, and is open to meeting clients wherever they may be in the world.
