Biography

Gail Power is a researcher, writer, speaker, consultant and Founder of Mindful Territory. Gail is passionate and curious about what enables individuals, businesses and communities to be optimally productive by creating ecosystems of skills, shared values and tools that support wellbeing rather than just working 'more'.

She has held Senior roles with the Workplace Research Centre (Sydney University, School of Business) as well as global consulting firms like Ernst & Young (EY), working closely with state and federal governments including the Australian Productivity Commission, Australian Defence Force and Australian Property Council to name a few. She thrives working with diverse stakeholders -- from pre-school teachers to cotton farmers, morgage brokers to CEOs of Australia's largest property empires.

She has also been a Kundalini Yoga and Meditation for 20 years, studying in the USA, India and Thailand and has trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.

Working with a diverse range of target groups for over 20+  years, Gail  noticed a trend -- everyone from preschool teachers to CEOs of global organisations were saying the same thing -- there was a lack of self awarness, self management and leadership skills required for the new world of work.

Recognising the benefits the Search Inside Yourself program had in her life after experiencing professional burnout, she committed to becoming a trainer and also participated in SIY's additional 9 month Engage program.

Known for her petite size but big laugh and fun sense of humour, Gail was born in the USA, but has resided in Australia for the past 20 years, living in Sydney as well as remote Australia. She currently live in Darwin, Northern Territory but travels the world to share her passion and frankness about her failures and successes when dealing with anxiety and emotional regulation, in hopes of helping others to feel less alone in their own challenges and provide hope and a path forward.
