Caroline is a futurist and humanist. As a futurist, she works with companies to translate the future into present-day choices. And, as a humanist, she works with executives to become powerful leaders and conscious custodians of our AI future.
Her work is uniquely devoted to reimagining the future of humanity in the age of intelligent machines. In particular, she explores the role we humans can play in the coming redefinition of human-machine relationships, what it means to be human in a world of limitless algorithms, the future of work and society, and, most especially, how we might develop leaders to lead this revolution with integrity, ethics and a view towards multi-generational benefit. She works with future-shapers to enhance the qualities of humanity that set us apart from robots, machines, and algorithms, such as ethical and moral decision-making, imagination, courage, socio-emotional intelligence, and visionary leadership.

She is considered a leading voice on a wide range of topics including digital transformation, the opportunity/challenges of the coming exponential society, disruptive innovation, human-machine futures and AI, and visionary and daring leadership. She is actively involved with IEEE’s working groups defining the standards for Ethical AI, has contributed to two seminal books on disruptive leadership, worked with some of the most imaginative organizations on the planet, spoken internationally, guest lectured at many top MBA schools and leadership forums, and won awards for her work with Fortune 100 clients.

She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA from Dartmouth College. Caroline also speaks 5 languages, which is a reflection of her nomadic existence and thirst for adventure. Her two bright, heartful and joyful children are her true compass and reason for being.
