Congratulations on your acceptance into SIYLI's 2021 SIY Organization Teacher Certification Program! We are looking forward to a great learning journey with you! Included below are the program details, payment options, cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Please read carefully, then click on the “Agree & Continue” button to agree to these terms and conditions. Once you do so, you will be taken to the payment form. Once we have received your payment you will be officially enrolled in our 2021 SIY Organization Teacher Certification program.
SIYLI will provide an invoice for tuition payment from your organization.
In order to confirm your attendance and hold your position in the 2021 SIY Organizational Teacher Certification Program, registration is required by June 11, 2021.
If we do not receive your registration by then we will offer your position to an applicant on the waitlist. Your timely payment is very appreciated and very important in allowing us to deliver a stellar program!
All fees/rates are quoted in U.S. dollars and all bank transfer fees/charges are the responsibility of the participant and your employer. Your confirmation of attendance cannot be finalized until all relevant payments are received by the applicable deadline.
Changes and Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be sent in writing to [email protected] and are subject to the following:
- If you cancel more than 30 days before Session 1 you will receive a full refund of tuition minus a $1,000 USD cancellation fee.
- If you cancel between 10 - 30 days before Session 1 you will receive a 50% refund of your tuition.
- All cancellations fewer than 10 days before Session 1 or at anytime during the program will not be eligible for a refund.
Terms & Conditions
By clicking on the “Agree & Continue” button below, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions for the SIY Organizational Teacher Certification (SIY OTC) program offered by the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI), including the Cancellation Policy set forth above.
You agree to make the full tuition payment as provided above. Your attendance is required at all virtual and in-person training sessions to be held during the program and you must complete all assigned program work to SIYLI’s satisfaction in order to be eligible for graduation through the SIY OTC Program. There is no refund for non-attendance, and your attendance does not guarantee graduation.
You must successfully complete the program to be eligible for graduation. Graduation is subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions of the SIY OTC Program.
The SIY OTC Program, all program content and materials, and the names, logos and other trademarks of SIYLI are the intellectual property of SIYLI or its licensors. Except as expressly provided herein or as otherwise authorized in writing by SIYLI, you may not copy, modify, publish, distribute or otherwise use any of the foregoing in any manner for any purpose.
You may use any SIY OTC Program content or materials provided to you by SIYLI for your own personal use in connection with your participation in the program.
As a participant in the program, you may refer to yourself as an "SIY OTC Participant" or "participant in SIYLI's teacher training". You may not refer to yourself as an "SIY Certified Teacher" (or any similar designation), or market, sell or provide any SIY programs. Once you have graduated from the SIY OTC program and agreed to the terms and conditions of the SIY Organizational Teacher Agreement, you will be able to offer the SIY program within your organization.
With SIYLI’s prior approval, you may translate SIY program materials into another language, so long as you comply with SILYI’s applicable policies and guidelines. You agree to provide a copy of any such translation to SIYLI and hereby grant SIYLI an exclusive (except for your own personal use), perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid license, with right to grant sublicenses, to use such translations in any manner for any purpose in connection with SIYLI’s programs and other activities.
SIY Organizational Teacher Agreement
If you graduate from the SIY OTC program, you may provide SIY authorized courses to the organization who employs you, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SIY Organizational Teacher Agreement.
SIYLI provides graduates of the SIY OTC program with SIY teacher materials, including regularly updated program materials. When teaching SIY within your organization, your employer will owe licensing fees to SIYLI of $150 per person, capped at $5,000 per program for the core SIY program.
The complete SIY Organizational Teacher Agreement, including program policies and guidelines, will be provided to you for your signature upon successful completion of and graduation from the SIY OTC Program. SIYLI reserves the right to change, at any time in its sole discretion, the SIY Organizational Teacher Agreement, including any program policies or guidelines.
SIYLI reserves the right to cancel the SIY OTC Program at any time in its sole discretion. In the event of such a cancellation, SIYLI will have no liability to you whatsoever. SIYLI may, at its own discretion, refund a portion of the program tuition fees you have already paid to SIYLI.
In the event of cancellation, SIYLI will use reasonable efforts to alert those who have booked to attend the program, and details of any cancellation will be posted on the appropriate program website. You are responsible for checking this information prior to the program.
SIYLI reserves the right, at any time in its sole discretion, to postpone or alter the schedule, course description or program, facilitators, instructors, venue, date or other arrangements for the SIY OTC Program or change any of the other published particulars. In the event of any such change, SIYLI will have no liability to you whatsoever.
SIYLI reserves the right, at any time in its sole discretion, to withdraw your invitation or cancel your participation in the SIY OTC Program. In the event of any such action, SIYLI will have no liability to you whatsoever, except that, unless such action is for cause (as reasonably determined by SIYLI), SIYLI will refund any program tuition fees you have already paid to SIYLI.
Liability and Indemnification
You agree to comply with any rules or regulations governing the applicable venue and/or accommodation and any program policies or guidelines provided to you by SIYLI.
YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, (A) SIYLI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY LOSS OR DAMAGE YOU MAY SUFFER, OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE OR BUSINESS OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, IN EACH CASE IN ANY WAY ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROGRAM OR YOUR PARTICIPATION THEREIN, AND (B) SIYLI’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES IN ANY WAY ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROGRAM OR YOUR PARTICIPATION THEREIN SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF PROGRAM TUITION FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO SIYLI FOR SUCH PROGRAM, IN EITHER CASE ((A) OR (B)) REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY AND EVEN IF SIYLI HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
You agree to indemnify SIYLI, and keep SIYLI indemnified, for any costs, liabilities, losses, or damages (including reasonable attorney’s fees) that SIYLI suffers in connection with any claim or demand of a third party due to or arising out of (i) your participation in the Program, (ii) your violation of these terms and conditions, (iii) your negligence or willful misconduct or (iv) any other harm or damage caused by you. SIYLI reserves the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify SIYLI, and you agree to cooperate with SILYI’s defense of the claims. You agree not to settle any such matter without the prior written consent of SIYLI.
You are solely responsible for your own travel insurance and for all travel arrangements including visa applications if required. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have in place appropriate insurance to cover any costs, liabilities or other losses that you may suffer or incur arising out of these terms and conditions (including the indemnity above), any cancellation of any program for any reason or arising out of your inability to attend any program for any reason (including any reason beyond your control).
Your attendance at the program does not guarantee graduation. You must successfully complete the program to be eligible for graduation. Graduation is subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions of the SIY OTC Program, including payment of any and all applicable fees. Graduation through the SIY OTC Program is not a guarantee that you will obtain teaching opportunities within your organization, nor is graduation or participation in the program an offer of employment by SIYLI. SIYLI makes no representations, warranties or guaranties with respect to the availability, accuracy, usefulness or safety of the program, any information or materials provided to you in connection with the program, or the outcome of your participation in the program. SIYLI hereby disclaims any and all implied representations and warranties in respect of the program or your participation therein.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms and conditions are governed by the internal laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions or your participation the SIY OTC Program that cannot be resolved through good faith negotiation of the parties shall first be submitted to confidential, non-binding mediation administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Mediation Procedures. If either party is dissatisfied with the results of the mediation, such party may submit the dispute for final settlement by confidential arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Any such mediation or arbitration shall be conducted in San Francisco, California (if the parties are unable to agree upon a different location) and in the English language. In the event of arbitration, the decision of the arbitrator(s) shall be final, conclusive and binding on the parties. Either party may bring an action in court to compel mediation or arbitration under this provision or to enforce an arbitration award, but otherwise neither party shall bring any action in court with respect to any such dispute; provided, however, that either party may at any time seek provisional measures (including a temporary restraining order or preliminary injunction) from any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent a breach of any applicable obligations.
These terms and conditions, together with any policies or guidelines referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and SIYLI regarding the SIY OTC Program. SIYLI’s failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these terms and conditions shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these terms and conditions is, for any reason, held to be invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions of these terms and conditions will be unimpaired and the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed modified so that it is valid and enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law. These terms and conditions, and your rights and obligations herein, may not be assigned or otherwise transferred by you, and any such attempted assignment or transfer is null and void.
