Scheherzade (Sher) Rana is the Founder of Innerspace Mindfulness and is a mindfulness teacher and speaker. Sher first came to mindfulness as a public servant with the Government of Canada where she held various leadership positions over her two decades of service. Sher served on the Advisory Group for the APEX (Association of Public Sector Executives) Leadership Symposium curating content on mindful and compassionate leadership and also speaking on these topics. She is also a certified Mindful Self-Compassion teacher through UC San Diego and she regularly facilitates corporate workshops and trainings. Sher hosted the historic Peace Day mass mindfulness meditation on Parliament Hill (in Ottawa, Canada) on the United Nations’ International Day of Peace. Sher is an advocate for mindfulness in leadership for world peace and also supported mindfulness across political parties in Canada's Parliament.
