At a young age June began wondering whether there was a way to make people happier. To her, most Korean people looked unhappy and stressful especially at work. To look for an answer, she had worked as a HR consultant for almost a decade trying to fix problems in organizations after majoring in Personnel Management at University of Warwick. She soon realized that nothing could be changed unless people in organizations transform themselves. She has implemented SIY in Korea since 2013. As an Organizational Psychology researcher at Seoul National University, she is interested in the impacts of the SIY program on employees' creativity and empathy.
