Julie has dedicated years helping creating the conditions for leaders to show up fully and people to thrive in the workplace. She teaches worldwide the science and practice of resilience, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence in business. Through her career as a corporate and non-profit leader, Julie appreciates the impact that emotional intelligence and resilience among leaders has on the success of the organization. As a consultant, Julie teaches resilience and mindfulness globally, coaches executive leaders, and designs and facilitates leadership programs for corporations and non-profits. For 10 years, Julie was the head of strategy for the headquarters of Girl Scouts in NYC where she worked with leaders from around the country. She has expertise in strategy, engagement, and change management. As a leader, she introduced mindfulness to teams at Girl Scouts and Verizon. Julie conducts leadership retreats for executive women and is a featured teacher on the mindfulness app Simple Habit. Julie received her JD from Brooklyn Law School and BA from Rutgers University. She was certified in the first class of teachers for Search Inside Yourself, a mindfulness based, emotional intelligence program designed and tested at Google. She was a Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute Mentor for a yearlong class of trainees.
