Carmen is convinced that the human mind´s potential can lead us all to transforming into healthier and genuinely happy human beings, and societies, leading to sustainability and peace. Therefore, she dedicates her time and energy to promoting this inner search, looking within. Carmen Trevino is a Certified Mindfulness Facilitator (CMF) by UCLA (2012) and a SIY Certified Teacher by SIYLI (2015). She has been studying and practicing meditation for over 20 years and has attended over 30 seminars and retreats. Carmen is deeply grateful to have studied contemplative practices with renowned teachers from Asia, Europe, United States and Latin America. Having professional and academic experience on sustainable development for over 10 years, she founded CORE mindfulness in 2013. She offers mindfulness based leadership trainings for companies and leaders, promoting wellness, attention and balance. She also collaborates with AtentaMente Consulting developing educational projects on a national level and facilitates trainings for companies, school teachers and parents too. She has been a co-founder of consulting firms and non-profits that work for the environment and promote peace. Carmen loves to travel, meet people and new cultures. She lives in Monterrey, Mexico “the city of mountains” and happy to be Sebastián´s and Alana´s mom.
