Biography

Ashley Norwood is a certified Wellness Coach, a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Practitioiner, and a certified Iyengar yoga teacher and therapist. Ashley teaches mindfulness courses, group health coaching classes, and yoga classes for a variety of clients including Atrius Health, MIT and Tufts University. Ashley was born in Rochester, NY, raised in Minneapolis, MN, graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA and lived in Boston, MA for over 30 years. She now resides in South Berwick, Maine. Having lived all over the country she is uniquely suited to building rapport with people from all walks of life. On an individual basis, Ashley works with clients across the U.S. who want to improve their physical and emotional well-being. Client goals include an increased level of physical fitness, weight loss, effective stress management, improved eating habits and better overall health. By creating a supportive structure, accountability and giving expert advice she helps people bridge the gap between what they know they should be doing and doing it consistently. Ashley's dedication to her personal practice of yoga and meditation are the cornerstone of her teachings. After a 20-year career in financial services, she finds it is a joy and a privilege to share what she has learned from her teachers about how to find deep, physical and emotional fulfillment in life.
