Alissa is an occupational psychologist with >6 years work experience in organization and people development. Alissa believes that leadership is the differentiator in today's world - essential traits such as empathy, active listening, humility and courage can be developed through mindfulness and emotional intelligence practice. Alissa is a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and part of BCG`s Organization and People Practice. Before joining BCG, Alissa held roles in Talent Management and as project manager for Organization and People Development and Change Management topics in Swiss Reinsurance in Zurich. Prior to this, Alissa was working part-time as strategic HR Project Manager with General Electric Inc. Alissa holds a Double Bachelor's degree in Business from the ESB Business School and Dublin City University, and an MSc. in Organizational Psychology from the University of Edinburgh. She is additionally certified as a Yoga Teacher as well as an accredited OPQ and MBTI/TMS facilitator, Change Management, Design Thinking and Scrum Master Certified. She is a certified coach (Performance Consultants International) and is currently completing her ACC business coaching certification with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
