Marketing Internship Opportunity

We are looking for a Marketing Intern to work with us for at least 3 months (and possibly longer). The start date will begin as soon as possible from mid-May to early June. The intern will learn SEO marketing and will help in building our brand and expanding our global community via social media, web, and blog posts. A business background and marketing experience (e.g. Google Adwords, social media, blog writing, SEO) is a plus.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualities:

  • Strong academic credentials and at least 1 year of experience with marketing
  • Experience with mindfulness and a deep interest in and commitment to SIYLI’s teachings and mission
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to move fluidly back and forth from the big picture to the details
  • Ability to hold and prioritize multiple projects, tracking many details and dates, managing several stakeholders and several streams of work at the same time
  • High collaborative work style, flexible, adaptable, and able to context-shift given the dynamic startup environment
  • Great at execution - gets things done with simplicity and precision!
  • Excellent communication skills across a variety of groups: prospective applicants, teachers-in-training, mentors, faculty, TT program teachers, volunteers, partners, vendors, internal SIYLI team, etc.
  • A people-person that truly enjoys creating connection with program participants, making them feel welcomed and supported
